My Success Poem

Success

Success is the best because when comes to a test you start to rest.

Just know that success has got your back when you need it and even some really hard test like reading.

Success will get you to the top you’ll be in the highest just like a star you’ll be the brightest.

Reading and writing yeah that was my topics because when comes to hard work failure is not an option.

the important message is to never give up or your gonna get a bad mark.

Thank you for listening to this lovely poem and remember success is the best because failure is not an option.

Misimoa - T4 Writing Sample 2013

It was a boiling hot day and the sun was just shooting out it’s blades of fire . I got a text for my friends and they were just informing me about our overnight camp at the Piha. So I started to pack my clothes and headed off to pick up a couple of mates. It was a long ride and the temperature out there was way to hot. We finally arrive at Piha mills and was satisfied that we were out of the sun. we rush into the lounge and the owner settled some rules and the boundaries of Piha. We took our bags from the car and all chose to sleep in one cabin.We were really engaged with the archery because we felt like we were inside the hunger games. We played for a while and the sun was starting to go home, so we decided that we should go sleep. It was the 3:32 and then we could hear a weird gorilla noise coming from outside. We turn on the lights and noticed that Daniel was out of bed and so we walked out and saw Daniel just standing there in a strange position, His veins were bursting out and he was straining his whole body. He look really tense. I walked up to him and whispered “Daniel come inside it’s late. then he replayed “My name is not Daneil” and he kept saying that like he was some sort of parrot repeating himself over and over again. After a couple of seconds he ran into the forest and so I ran into the cabin and told some off my other friends that he ran into the forest and that we had to go find him.Now it was 4:00 and we turn on our torches and we to go search for him. Then we found him and he was inside some sort of bush rocking back and forth. His eyes were pale white and it looked like he was possessed by a demon or something like that. So we grabbed hold his body and took him back but he kept trying to fight out of it and then he head butted one of my friends and my friend was knocked out cold. We couldn't get him up for like half an hour then he finally woke up. and once we got Daniel back to the camp-site the first word he said was “Hey guys what are we doing here” I told what happened but he wouldn't believe me but then after that everyone started to call him demon boy because of that incident. After that incident no one went camping again and no one knows if he will turn again and be warned because he just might turn up inside your room . . .

Verse 1	The main idea in this verse is inspiration...	“I am a mountain, I am a tall tree.”	“I am a swift wind sweepin in the country.”	Yes I agree with this part of the song because everyone has a inspiration of who they look up to and want to become in the future.
Chorus	The main idea in this chorus is how people can achieve their aspiration	“Im that Star up in the im that sky hey,i made it emmmm	“I'm that mountain peak up high Hey i made it	Yes i agree because artist wanted to lead people their and also to achieve their own aspiration.
Verse 2	I think that this verse is about being fearless.	“I am a lion down in the jungle”	“I am a giant I am a eagle”	“Yes I agree because I think that you have to stand up for yourself”
Verse 3	What I think about the third verse is about caring,love and the world...	“In the ring of life” “I’m the worlds greatest”	“I’ll reign love” “When all is darkest,I’ll shine a light”	“Yes I agree because I think that no matter what he is he cares about the earth because he shows that he think the greatest world is earth”
Verse 4	The main idea is to follow dreams...	“In the end of tunnel there is a pot of gold.”	“And faith was right there to pull me through, yeah now I can just walk through.”	Yes I agree with this because faith can help you follow your dreams and pull you to a great future.

Misimoa

I run like the wind at every game I win.

When I kick the ball it fly’s into the air when I come back down I look like Chase blair.

Mate Ma’a Tonga and Toa samoa are hungry for some moa.

Be scared because we own a chicken store.

I’m the new samoan thor

I’ll take down your front door

There’s gonna be war.

You're gonna hear me roar.

There’s a new law

Bump off’s and fights,

You’ll be out the door,

I’m one of  Fantastic 4,

who does not snore.

One day I’ll play for samoa,

and you’ll be in the crowd cheering “Misimoa.”

I’ll be under the goal post getting a big score.

I’m not a simile because it’s just me,

I’m flash like Bolt fending off trouble going to achieve my goal.

That’s my future, I don’t wanna be a tutor and the names not Misi it’s Freddie Kruger.

Don’t call me a loser because I got all the fame.

Year 8 Camp 2013

I'm looking forward to the team building activities and night games because I'll have new students to work with and because at night I'm to hypo.

I'm feeling excited and confident. I can't wait to get started

I am excited to go with my friends because without them the camp won't be fun.
My friends are Tim, Timothy, Kamaka, Faith, Crystal and my best friend Tupou.

My Young Men’s Journey

As I arrive to the chapel my heart skips a beat feeling so pumped ready to say goodbye to my family as I leave for the Young Men’s camp.

The roaring sound of the siren goes off and it’s time to go. I turn to my parents to give them a hug and a kiss. I wave to my parents then suddenly I hear my friend screaming out to me saying “We can’t be late,” I rush to him and we both head inside and got separated into two teams, I was in black and he was in green. Before we left we got a little pep talk from the leaders. After we did some activities just to warm us up for the morning. My team lost but I felt like a winner anyways.

I took my bags to the van. I turned my head to the left and I saw one of my church buddies. I chucked my bags into the van and sprinted out to him. I caught up to him and saw that he had a hurt himself on the arm. he looked like he was in so much pain, so I run to get a leader to come help. The bleeding starts to overflow and it looks like a volcano when erupted. Brother Smith come to the rescue and patches up the bleeding mess. Then the siren goes off and we are all commanded to hit the road.

The engine starts off and I could already feel the sandy beach and the fresh breezy air. I open the window as we are on the road and swing my head out but while the wind is touching my tongue, a bug gets caught too. I put my head back in and open my bag to grab a fresh packet of Skofs. Opening up the bag was my favorite part because I could already taste the divine treat even though it hasn’t touched my mouth yet.

The Skof chip lands on my tongue and my taste buds are really happy. we stop at

a park for more activities. The game that we played was a four way tiger war. and each group settles in and grabs one piece of the immense rope. The siren howls of loudness and the games begin. We fall to the ground and I all I can taste is dirt and grass in my mouth.
