Is it good to save energy?
Why do we need to save energy?
(So our world can live in a world full light not full of darkness.)
You’ve heard parents say “Turn THE LIGHTS OFF” OR “cLOSE THE FRIDGE DOOR” AND YOU WONDER WHY?
Just by making some small changes to energy in your house will help you save money and help earth be a better place .Energy has been there when we’ve needed it.bUT If we use too much energy that is bad for our earth like Methane and Co2, a very bad gas is released and that is called greenhouse, sOMETIMES when we leave something on when we are not using it you might think it is not a big deal but on the other hand you are making global warming a bigger and more dangerous thing for us. if we carry on using too much energy you are looking at massive floods and huge storms.
ENergy is important, if there was no energy how would we live? Save energy by not using too much and have a energy power plan on how to save energy. The best part of saving energy is that if you save heaps of it you will save a lot of money. We would barely survive without some energy sources but the biggest source of energy you can find is the sun, if this big ball of fire disappeared for some reason all of us will perish including the earth itself. So when you do something including energy have a little think about what damage it can do to our earth.
Energy is a very important to us and we use it in some good ways but using cars and other transports that make global warming more dangerous is a very big problem, there is a easy solution to this, it is to just walk once in awhile or riding a bike, you can even help by simply changing a lightbulb to a more efficient one.
So our personal opinion is that this can help with the war against global warming. This is why you should save energy, i hope you have learnt something from this.
Thank you for listening to this piece of writing from tupou, misimoa and sake.

Hello my name is Johnny English and I’m on a mission to track down a man who tried to shut down my company the S.S.A (Super Secret Agents). This was the beginning of my mission I had to climb to the top of his tower and try to walk across a rope.
Before I saw the very long rope which was like 20 metres long I saw a suitcase and newspaper . I tried to think of a plan to try help me walk along the rope so I took both. I jumped on the edge of the building and started to think “My life is on the line” I saw two men on the other side and they must have been the two men that tried to shut down my company.
So I put my first foot on the rope and then the second foot went on the rope I prayed that I wouldn’t die I put both items on each side and tried to balance myself but I just couldn’t because the suitcase was heavier than the newspaper. I dropped the newspaper and it landed on the concrete and as I was looking down I saw that it was a long way down. I look forward and whispered to myself “You can do this”. I Closed my eyes and started walking.
I walked only about 5 metres and I knew that I had a long way to go. I Tripped and fell but I was still holding on to the rope with my hands and along I went and just to make my day worse I got rope burn. I fell off the rope but as I was falling my friends from the S.S.A came and saved me by putting out a trampoline and I was rescued but I still have to complete my mission and the two men were got away.

Team Building Task
Today we had to complete a very hard task. We had to untangle ourselves. It was hard because everybody’s hands were going in a different direction. The one thing that was challenging to me was that we had more people. My strategy was to go one by one. After that, we had a boys vs girls competition and when the boys messed up there was always that one person who never gave up...it was Arapeta, but both teams won because we no matter how hard it was we tried did our best. I learnt that in team building it is ok to take a risk.
Oral Language
W.A.L.T We are learning to read clearly and with expression to support meaning.
I can read with expression. I built up my confidence and got it over and done with. I can also read clearly because I have a loud voice and that helped me.

NZ Shake Out Day
Today was New Zealand's National Shake Out Day. At 9:26am there was an earthquake drill. I was at my desk, so I dropped, covered and held to stay safe. One thing we did well at T.P.S was we got straight under our desk. One thing I want to work on next time is listen to don't try and save my net book. Our meeting place is the hall. Remember, in the event of an earth quake... Drop, cover and hold.

Observation Report
This term me and my group studied about kumaras. Which one will grow first the big kumara or the small kumara.
On Friday 10 of August my group collected two plastic cups, two kumaras, one big and one small and four kebabs sticks. We were going to test which kumara would grow roots first.
First we filled up the the two plastic cups with clear water and then we put both kumaras inside the two cups of water. Secondly we stabbed two kebab sticks into the big kumara so it could balance properly. We did the same with the small kumara and waited for it to grow.
After 2 weeks we noticed that the small kumara grew fur and one big root and the big kumara didn’t grow any roots. I think the big kumara didn’t grow roots because it didn’t get enough sunlight

My compost narrative T3W5
I was wondering around looking for a nice smelly compost heap until... I saw this mountain of smelly unfinished and peeled skin of fruit well I think it was...yeah. Luckily I could smell. I got closer as the compost just stays there. I went closer and it still stays frozen, so I take off like a rocket launcher. I was trying to smell a place to stay as the sun started give up or is it just because I’m blind. I smelt a small damp hole in the compost “Hallelujah!” I smelt my way down and felt the nice soft floor and waited for the next day. Wednesday, 1983.
As I was up and going to follow my scent for some compost. When there was compost all around me, I got to work and started breaking down fruit. I was nibbling trying to nibble my hardest but then I smelt a cold blooded animal “Sniff, sniff...” My little nose went when I scented a centipede. I was scared to death when I smelt a centipede, my veins were popping up. I went closer and closer then... It ran like a little spider monkey. The next morning I got back on to work as my fruit friend wanted to break down so I went to Mr and Mrs Banana’s skin and ate them and their babies and when I went to go they came out but you do not want to know how they came out.
I smelt something very furry it smelt like a wood mouse so I ran for my life and I thought to myself “Please do not kill me!” I started to run and run until the big mouse was gone. I was going to eat some more rotten fruit, “Mmmm...” And then when the compost turned into soil my job was done and then I moved out.

Day 3 My Observation
Day 3 of my observation and the big kumara grew fur. I think nothing changed because it’s starting to get dry.
Now I’m wondering what will happen if the big kumara was planted?

Recount about primary Fia Fia night
In the holidays me and well, people I like to call family drove to a beautiful place that we call Church. Church is where my Primary Fia Fia Night was set. It was really cool. Well let me tell you about it. First we started to eat but in our church we have to let the elderly go first and then the kids. After the feast it was time for the performances. The first performance was the primary's sasa. Our sasa was cool...ummm...yeah. The second performance was an open dance to everyone. Me and my friends went to dance so I could show my Busta Rhyme moves and show my friends how it’s done.
I was rocking the dance floor man! Then my song came on...Mamamia. After I went off, all the people went. Nah, I’m just joking! They went off the dancefloor because the next performance was coming on. It was the CTRs, that stands for Choose The Right, they’re the young kids. They even had a better dance than our class! They had a traditional samoan dance. After that dance was the second oldest class. They did a samoan dance too and my class, the oldest class, well of course we did a really crack up dance.
After my dance my sisters ditched me and went to their Y.S.A dance. Just the girls dance was up next and they rocked the stage and then the boys were next, we did the samoan haka and I just wanted to put out that I think we did the haka better than the Manu Samoa team. After a while they put some songs on for everyone to join in with. Me and my friend sat down because we had to look after this little boy who crashed out on the chair. In the english ‘crashed out’ is ‘slept’ so we had to look after him.
The party started to finish off but I had to stay behind and clean because I’m apart of the youth. It took about 20 to 30 minutes to clean the chapel. We have a very small chapel just to let you know. As soon as we got home, I jumped on my bed and fell asleep getting rest for Saturday.

Motorbike Narrative
Dreams Do Come True
“Here we go!” I said to myself as the E.S.P.N games started. The trainer was saying “You can do it!” and the crowd was cheering me on. I was feeling confident and was standing next to a pro rider named Travis Pastrana.
I hit the engine button to on and went zooming down the ramp. I was trying to do the back flip superlady. I went up the ramp and hit the superlady move. But when I nearly landed it, I rotated my head to the audience and I saw Tupou dressed up, cheering me on and yelling “freedom!”
I took a deep breath then... I landed the back flip superlady and the audience jumped over the fence and were yelling “Misimoa! Misimoa!” I took my helmet off and I was so proud of myself that I said “Take that Travis Pastrana.” and I felt elite.
